The material, dimensions, loads, damage, access, finish, tolerances, and intended use must be understood before feasibility, method, timing, or price can be confirmed.

Fabrication work considered

• Repair or replacement of brackets, tabs, mounts, guards, supports, and non-proprietary metal components
• Modification or adaptation of serviceable components when the scope is safe and clearly defined
• Repair of cracked, worn, bent, or damaged steel or aluminum parts when the base material remains suitable
• Small custom parts and equipment-related metalwork based on measurements, drawings, samples, or the vehicle itself

Job review before fabrication

Provide the vehicle or equipment information, component purpose, material if known, measurements, photos, drawings, load or movement requirements, mounting points, and desired finish. The shop may need to inspect the part directly before confirming whether repair, replication, modification, or replacement is practical.

Important limitations

Custom fabrication is not automatically suitable for frames, suspension mounting points, pressure vessels, certified structures, lifting devices, rollover protection, safety-critical couplings, or engineered load-bearing modifications. These may require engineering, certification, manufacturer procedures, qualified specialist processes, or replacement components.

No dimensional accuracy, finish match, load rating, compliance, or durability outcome should be assumed until the job and acceptance criteria are documented. Corrosion, contamination, hidden cracks, previous repairs, unknown alloys, and access can change the scope.

Can a cracked component be welded?

Sometimes. Material, crack location, contamination, loading, access, heat effects, and surrounding condition determine whether repair is appropriate.

Do you provide mobile fabrication?

Do not assume onsite work is available. Location, safety, access, power, weather, equipment, and scheduling determine feasibility.

How is fabrication priced?

Cost depends on design and setup time, material, preparation, labor, machining or outside services, fit-up, finishing, and installation.
